Our Investment Advisory Services facilitate access to impact capital through our investor network by providing investment readiness support, transaction advisory, and post-investment services to SMEs.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Investment Associate to join our growing team in a pivotal role that supports the SMEs to become investment ready and access capital. This role involves supporting the Investment Advisory Services team in the following key areas:

 Investment Readiness: Assist entrepreneurs in developing strategic business plans, financial models, and investment pitch materials.

• Transaction Advisory: Support the development and management of the investor pipeline and network. Conduct financial modelling, capital structuring, deal structuring, and due diligence.

• Capacity Building: Facilitate training for entrepreneurs, support investor education initiatives, and represent the organization at relevant forums and workshops.

• Impact Measurement & Post-Investment Support: Monitor and report on impact metrics such as job creation, revenue growth, and profitability to clients, funders, and investors.

• Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, consultants, service providers, and entrepreneurs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment/transaction advisory, management consulting, or related fields.

• Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Excellent financial modelling and investment analysis skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Preferred:

• Progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a strong advantage.
• Experience in legal and financial due diligence, fund or portfolio management, credit risk analysis, or SME lending.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
